“Take it From the Top,” written and directed by Penny Shaw and the show’s dates are Nov. 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. at the Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School Auditorium.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys are busy this season on the green and on the pitch. The soccer team beat Middleburgh, 2 to 1, in overtime at home on Friday afternoon, and the golf team golf team lost, 184 to 213, against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St.

Leadership is important for any varsity sports team at Berne-Knox-Westerlo, Guilderland, or Voorheesville. These seniors led the way throughout the year.

Varsity teams from Guilderland, Voorheesville, and Berne-Knox-Westerlo showed the state and Section 2 competition their mettle when the temperatures went up this spring — that is, once the snow melted.

Results were mixed for the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs’ track-and-field team, competing Tuesday against Middleburgh, Duanesburg, and Mekeel Christian Academy at Middleburgh High School.

Guilderland, Voorheesville, and Berne-Knox-Westerlo varsity bowling teams bowled at Town ’n’ Country lanes in Guilderland last Thursday afternoon.

The Berne-Knox-Westerlo girls’ soccer team was playing hard and not giving up on Friday afternoon at home, even if the record doesn’t show it.

The Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs and the Guilderland Dutchmen raced in the 47th Guilderland International Cross Country Invitational Saturday at Tawasentha Park in Guilderland.

Showing their power, grace, and determination, the varsity teams from Guilderland, Berne-Knox-Westerlo, and Voorheesville gave it their all during the winter sports season.
