The second meet in the inaugural season of the Duanesburg/Berne-Knox-Westerlo girls’ swim team ended with victory. The team is made up of 12 girls from Duanesburg Central and Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Last week, Berne-Knox-Westerlo girls battled hard on the pitch and at the net, but came up short. The soccer team played Mekeel Christian Academy at home on Monday, trailing, 3 to 0, midway through the second half. The Bulldogs fought back, scoring two goals, but fell, 3 to 2.

Last Saturday, volunteers helped Knox supervisor Vasilios Lefkaditis to build the new playground where the old tennis courts were at Knox Town Park. 

With over 30 places for people to visit, the discover the hilltown tour had plenty to offer people that wanted to come see what these places offer or make.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys are busy this season on the green and on the pitch. The soccer team beat Middleburgh, 2 to 1, in overtime at home on Friday afternoon, and the golf team golf team lost, 184 to 213, against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St.
