For the first time, members of the Guilderland School Board raised complaints themselves and voted against a proposed textbook.

Over 1,000 people filled out an online survey about budget priorities for the Guilderland school district, but less than 20 turned out for a forum to discuss the results.

The newest language spoken by Guilderland students who are learning English is Chuukese, an Austronesian language found in the islands of Micronesia.
