The Voorheesville boys’ basketball team hoped to move up the Colonial Council standings with a critical matchup against Cobleskill-Richmondville last Friday night at home.The Birds battled hard but fell short in a 64-to-49 loss.
The Voorheesville Blackbirds girls’ basketball team traveled to Academy of the Holy Names in a make-up game, rescheduled from Jan. 12 to Jan. 18. The Blackbirds started off well, with hard-to-penetrate defense, leading in the first half, 15 to 9.
