Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for a Class ll bus to be used for the Town of Guilderland Senior Transportation.

During the months of July through December 2014, wildlife habitat restoration involving the removal of invasive, non-native trees will take place on 47 acres in the Albany Pine Bush Preserve near the intersection of Washington Avenue Extension and New Karner Road (Route 155) in Albany.

The Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission invites the public to the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center to view Karner blue butterflies raised for release as part of its effort to recover this endangered species.

Since I heard about the Rodino family, I have been fundraising for them. It is what I can do to help.

The American Red Cross encourages all eligible blood donors to make an appointment to donate blood soon to help prevent a shortage.

During the summer months, on average, about two fewer donors give blood at each Red Cross blood drive than what is needed to meet the needs of patients.
