At his State of the County address on Monday night, Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy brought up new initiatives such as expanding internet access in the Hilltowns and efforts to finish paving the Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail.

Although schools we cover have policies to support transgender students, the great danger in having a federal directive that chips away at the civil rights of any of us is it weakens all of us.

Cora Marion Harwood was born on Thursday, Jan. 19,  2017, to Anne Hayden Harwood and David Harwood.

Her mother is the former Guilderland reporter for The Altamont Enterprise.

Cora Marion weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces at birth and measured 19.5 inches long.

She lives with her parents in East Greenbush.
