Paul Mackey, 34, of Schenectady was sentenced on March 23 to two to four years in state prison for fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. The sentence was handed down in Albany County Supreme Court by Judge Thomas A. Breslin.
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is recruiting volunteers for the 2017 summer sampling season to conduct water quality assessments in nearby streams and rivers as part of the Water Assessments by Volunteer Evaluators project known as WAVE.
The Albany County Veterans Services Bureau has sent officials to speak in towns across the county in order to encourage veterans to register with them. Registered as a veteran will make them not only eligible for benefits, but allows the bureau to receive more federal aid based on the number of veterans in their care.
