The state’s Department of Environmental Conservation is looking for landowners who want to help with the second year of a research project on the survival of wild turkey hens.

Albany County has the task of continuing the Rail Trails project between South Pearl Street and Delaware Avenue, said to Mark King, director of the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy.

The American Red Cross Blood Services is holding these local drives in December:
