To the Editor:

I have been asked to write a letter in regards to the standing of the Republican Party and lack of a candidate for this year’s town election.

Bledi.

"Keep very busy, and maintain a good sense of humor."

The contractor agreed to some additions and stipulations, aimed at addressing concerns that development at the rural site might alter water drainage and negatively impact neighbors.

Library Director Gail Sacco said none of the incumbents were seeking another term and no petitions were filed by the deadline April 22.

VOORHEESVILLE — When school district voters go to the polls May 21 they will be able to cast votes for two open and unchallenged seats on the board as incumbents C. James Coffin and Cheryl Dozier each seek another four-year term.

Both candidates have careers in education.

VOORHEESVILLE — The Voorheesville Board of Education adopted a $22,562,392 budget last week, 3.17 percent larger than last year’s, which would raise the tax levy in the district by 3.23 percent.

NEW SCOTLAND — After completing a federally funded two-year study in November on how to develop the town’s commercial zones near the intersections of routes 85 and 85A, New Scotland has received a new $70,000 grant from the Capital District Transportation Committee to help make the recommendations into law.
