NEW SCOTLAND — A portion of Krumkill Road will be closed indefinitely on Nov. 12, according to Highway Superintendent Darrell Duncan.

VOORHEESVILLE — Two students were arrested after they were spotted by a neighbor in a vacant house that had, apparently, been used as a party spot.

Students get bumped when classes are filled

BETHLEHEM — Elementary classes in several Bethlehem schools are filled to their limit, meaning incoming students may be placed in schools outside of the area where they live.

NEW SCOTLAND — Making his second run for town board, Timothy Stanton is on the Republican line this year.  Two years ago, he ran on a line called New Scotland FIRST, which was created after he lost his bid for the GOP line in a heated primary.

NEW SCOTLAND — Diane Deschenes and Darrell Duncan, the long-time Democratic clerk and highway superintendent, are each running again for a two-year term in uncontested races.
