A business owned by town official Sindi Saita is raising the hackles of a number of its customers, who say that the dresses sometimes come in too late for alteration.

GUILDERLAND — Mariah M. Surgick, 18, of Schenectady, was killed in the early morning hours of May 13 when she attempted to cross the Thruway on foot and was struck by a tractor-trailer, according to the New York State Police.

GUILDERLAND — Timothy Horan, a 30-year career teacher set to retire at the end of the school year, won over 25 percent of the vote, making him the clear frontrunner in a five-way race for three school board seats.

“Real good night,” said Horan after the tally was announced Tuesday night.
