The Guilderland girls’ field hockey traveled to Shenendehowa on Wednesday afternoon for the Class A sectional semifinal and lost to Shen, 2 to 0.

Also on Wednesday, the Voorheesville girls’ soccer team lost its Class B sectional semifinal to Mechanicville at Lansingburgh High School. The score was 4 to 4. The excruciating loss came by penalty kicks.
