A pedestrian-vehicle accident on Western Avenue Monday morning left a woman with injuries that police say seem serious.

ALTAMONT — Raymond J. Martin, a devoted family man who loved history and designed armories, died peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2017. He was 89.

He was born in Albany, on Dec. 14, 1927 and grew up on Orange Street in the city. His mother worked as a telephone operator and his father was a railroad worker.

GUILDERLAND — A Guilderland man is accused of masturbating in view of a woman and her young daughter who were parked by a railroad crossing to watch the trains.

GUILDERLAND — Michael Jones, 29, who on Sept. 24, 2016 was driving in Guilderland with a revoked license and with nearly three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system, was sentenced Wednesday to two to four years in state prison for aggravated driving while intoxicated per se, a felony.
