On Tuesday August 17, girls from all ages competed in the Miss Altamont Fair pageant, which missed last year due to COVID, returned to crowned six new queens for this years fair.
The Miss Altamont Fair Pageant kicks off the Altamont Fair on Tuesday morning inside the Village and Carriage Museum with 29 competitors in seven different age groups. The contestants displayed their talents, answered questions, and modeled formal wear for three judges.
On the opening day of the Altamont Fair, 27 young women, ages 5-40, compete in the Miss Altamont Fair pageant for the fair week and other community events through out the year.
On Tuesday morning, the opening day of the Altamont Fair, the annual Miss Altamont Fair pageant was held at the Northrup Stage to crown the new court of young ladies.
