Photos: Elegance returns to the Fair

On Tuesday August 17, girls from all ages competed in the Miss Altamont Fair pageant, which missed last year due to COVID, returned to crowned six new queens for this years fair.

Crowning glory: Westerlo’s Morgan Latham, 21, had no competition in the Miss Altamont Fair division, for unmarried women who are 17 or older. She is crowned by 2019’s Junior Miss Altamont Fair Dakota Stott.

Moving with grace: Delmar’s Arden Talmage, 13, shows her love of ballet to the judges on Tuesday morning. Talmage won the Tween Miss division, for girls 11 to 13. Lillian McGuire, 11, from Altamont is the first alternate and Ava Jones, 12, from Guilderland is the second alternate.
