On the opening day of the 2024 Altamont Fair, the fair pageant held their annual Miss Altamont Fair Pageant and a new court was appointed.

Additional tiara: Sarah Coons, 15, from Colonie has to grab her Junior Miss Altamont Fair crown as Junior Miss 2023 Lillyin Bailey starts to put the sash on Coons, who was also named Miss Congeniality, during Tuesday morning’s pageant. Lillian McGuire is the first alternate and Ava Jones along with Thea Luna are the second alternates in the division for girls ages 14 to 17.

Standing proud with blue eyes and missing front teeth: Sadie Pulver, 6, from Colonie stands holds her trophy after being crowned Little Miss Altamont Fair, for girls ages 5 to 7. Savayah Agar is her first alternate and Brooklyn Richardson is her second alternate.

Changing of the guard: Miranda Putorti, 18, is crowned by 2023 Miss Altamont Fair Zoie Libertucci on the first day of the Altamont Fair. Putorti was the lone entrant in the Miss division, for women ages 18 to 25 and unmarried.

Displaying her work: Stefanie Dinovo, 28, from Rotterdam, walks in a circle as she holds a tumbler that she made as she competes in the Mrs. division, for women ages 18 and older and married. Dinovo won with Jaimie Birdsall Pulver as her first alternate and Bridgit Goldman as her second alternate.

Grooving: Miranda Eldridge, 31, from Rotterdam, shows off her hobby, Latin dancing, in the Ms. division. Eldridge was the lone entrant in the division for women ages 26 and older and unmarried.
