WESTERLO — “The Pilgrim’s Progress” is the theme for this summer’s Vacation Bible School at the First Baptist Church of Westerlo.
The school runs each day from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. from Aug. 15 to 19.

The church is located at 618 Route 143 in Westerlo.

The fire company will use the money to construct a new station on Helderberg Trail, where it already owns property.

WESTERLO — George R. “Robbie” Snyder, who loved snowmobiling and logging, ran the family excavating business and also farmed.

He died at home on Wednesday July 6, 2022. He was 70.

Paul Larrabee will attend Clarkson University and hopes to be a mechanical engineer.

Kimberly Howland is attending Rochester Institute of Technology to study video game design, and then hopes to find a job in game development in the Capital Region. 

United States Postal Service representative Mark Lawrence said that a work order has been submitted and is expected to be complete by the end of July. 

The Berne-Knox-Westerlo 2022 graduation ceremony was held on June 25 at the Egg, in Albany — a return to pre-pandemic tradition. 

The Knox Conservation Advisory Council was reconstituted in January this year, after a previous version of the council had petered out around 2018 due to lack of interest.
