Each veteran was commemorated

To the Editor:

On Sunday, Dec. 18, a moving tribute was held to honor veterans in all three Westerlo cemeteries — Westerlo Rural, Westerlo Central, and Hannacroix Rural as part of Wreaths Across America.

Due to the deep snow individual graves were not accessible. Each veteran was commemorated by having his or her name read aloud. Wreaths were respectfully placed in rows to honor them.
