This town wants to be the little town that could when it comes  to fighting climate change.

BERNE — An ecology-minded sixth-grader left everybody feeling good at last week’s town board meeting after he presented his plans for restoring ponds on the town’s Switzkill Farm property to full fish-filled health.

Christmas is getting closer.  On Tuesday, Dec. 13, the Old Men of the Mountain met at the Country Café on Main Street in Schoharie.

BERNE — Taylor Repscher, 20, accused last summer of stealing from the town highway garage where he worked, was sentenced Tuesday night in Berne Town Court.

The recent Rensselaerville town board meeting looked back and moved ahead.
