Attendance was small at our last meeting, but our joy of being together was huge.

Another year is coming to a close. We have so much to be thankful in our group of seniors.

We were greeted by the flying witch and her broom as we took our seats this past Saturday, Oct. 8.

The Sept. 10 meeting of the Hilltown Seniors was attended by 52 members. We had three new members.

When it rains, it pours. But we did so badly need the rain.

Our July 9 meeting was supposed to be at the Knox town park. But, because of a rainy forecast, the higher-ups decided it was best to have it at the senior center.

A good laugh recharges your batteries. If this is true, the seniors that attended the June 11 meeting are

ready to go for the next 10 years.

Last week I was called "elderly" and, fact be told, every time I turn around that is what I hear.

On the radio and television, and in the newspaper.

We had a good crowd at our Jan. 9 meeting. It was nice to see everyone and chat about other things beside the holidays.

Is everybody happy now that winter is here?  I know we all joked about the warm weather, but there were a lot of people with respiratory problems.
