BERNE — Emma Detlefsen may only be 10 years old but she was honored on June 15 as a Woman of Distinction.

EAST BERNE — John F. “Jack” Sellnow, a retired New York State Trooper, and a member of the Berne Masonic Lodge, died on June 13, 2018. He was 75.

Born on June 18, 1942, he was the son of the late Charles Sellnow Sr. and Sadie Strzesiewski. He was lovingly raised by the late Jacob and Louise Sellnow Collen.
