The Hudson Mohawk Chapter of the NY-Penn Historic Military Vehicle Club hosted the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II on Saturday morning at Berne Town Park.

EAST BERNE — James Olin Fallon, of East Berne, a loving father and cherished grandfather, “entered into eternal life on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020,” his family wrote. He was 70.

Born in Troy, New York on Sept. 22, 1949, he was the son of the late James and Dorothy (née Olin) Fallon.

Edna Anne Bunzey

BERNE — Edna Anne Bunzey, a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who traveled to most of the 50 states, died peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 95.

EAST BERNE —  Anna (née Kehrer) Hayes, a nurse’s aid whose greatest passion was her family, died on Sunday, June 20, 2020 in the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Delmar. She was 86.

She was born on Aug. 12, 1933 to the late Catherine Kehrer of Glenmont.

BERNE — Barbara M. Schaible, formerly of Warners Lake, was a feisty woman who sang in her church choir and was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She died on Sunday, June 21, 2020. She was 88.

 She was born on Nov. 10, 1931 in Berne to the late Arnold and Elsie (née Ecker) Mattice.
