Just over half of the seventh-graders surveyed at Berne-Knox-Westerlo reported having some sort of trauma, according to the school’s social worker, who described how the school has been addressing this.

BKW students in Future Farmers of America described a trip involving stops at dairy and swine farms, grain processors, and stops at the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory.

While the town board will have the final say on the proposed multi-use recreational district in Knox, the planning and zoning boards have already weighed in, with mixed results.

A domestic assault that sent a 28-year-old woman to the hospital was stopped after the woman used an emergency-call feature to notify police during the attack, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.
