Gurjinder Singh

BETHLEHEM — On Monday, Bethlehem Police arrested Gurjinder Singh, 30, of Stratford, New Jersey after extraditing him from New Jersey.

GUILDERLAND — Ancestors of several members of the Dutch Settlers Society acted as interpreters, in the 17th Century, between Dutch traders or missionaries and Native Americans.

With each passing year, fewer and fewer all-volunteer ambulance squads remain in the area, replaced with full-time paid employees.

ALTAMONT — This week, Wayne Knapp and Kathy Mack, a couple from Guilderland, will be strolling the grounds of Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s Virginia plantation, and they will also be exploring, on foot, the nation’s capital of country music: Nashville, Tennessee.

The driver, who was surrounded by both full and empty beer cans at the crash site, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Police are pursuing further criminal charges while investigating the crash that killed a Berne woman.
