On Saturday afternoon, the Empire State Youth Orchestra held their annual plaython infront of Burlington Coat Factory inside Crossgates Mall in Guilderland.

The Guilderland Dutchmen wrestlers took to the mat on Saturday at Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park for the Section 2, Division 1, Class A championships. The Dutch finished sixth with 124.5 points.

On Saturday at Crossgates Mall, sponsored by the mall and the Colonie-Guilderland Rotary Club, was to raise awareness about the opioid epidemic and to raise funds for Second Chance Opportunities so a challenged theme event was held to raise money for a Community Recovery Center in Albany.

On Saturday morning, local singer Melissa Sgambelluri who is starting her own non-for-profit organization dropped off food donations to a place of regular in her heart, Happy Cat Rescue in Guilderland Center.

Three-time defending Section 2 champions, the Guilderland co-ed cheer team took to the mat in the annual UAlbany Cheer Showdown on Sunday afternoon. The Dutch cheered the day before in Saratoga where they finished second.
