A jeep drove into a medical office on Route 20 in Guilderland Monday; the driver told police she wasn’t sure if she stepped on the brake or the gas.
An elderly woman crashed her van into the SEFCU building on Route 20 in Guilderland Monday morning; no one was hurt.
The 73-year-old motorcyclist, Charles Burchhardt, was described as an experienced rider, with years of riding under his belt.
Now, residents have water again, but a boil water advisory is in effect until testing can be completed.
The cause and circumstances are still being investigated. No tickets or charges have been issued so far.
ALTAMONT — A pedestrian in a village crosswalk was hit by a van on Monday, Dec. 28.
The driver told police he did not see anyone in the roadway, but heard a “thump and a woman’s scream,” said the accident report.
“Everything was 100 percent,” said Steve Oliver, highway superintendent. “We are still not really sure about the how, what, and why of the accident.”
Sean McCutcheon tripped and fell, and the truck backed over him, according to a release from the Guilderland Police Department.
A dramatic crash on Route 20 at Johnson road, involving a pickup that ran a red light,, hit two cars, and rolled over several times, resulted in only minor ijnuries and no arrests.
