Work of teenage Historian appreciated

To the Editor:

I am the granddaughter of Emil Meyrowitz and was fortunate to read Tyler Frisbee’s letter to the editor in The Altamont Enterprise, Jan. 9. 2014 issue.

Upon receiving the two pairs of glasses by Meyrowitz Bros. Albany N.Y., I thank him for taking the extra step to look into their history.

Knowing my family’s history in the optical business, I am very impressed with the presentation of the material he researched. I’ve made copies of the article and sent it to family members.

Tyler’s interest shows he has an inquiring mind and will succeed in life.
