These local students were named to the fall 2019 dean’s list at University of Rhode Island, with a grade-point average of 3.30 or higher:

LOUDONVILLE — M. Andrea (née Volk) Hanley, a nurse who loved her family, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020. She was 74.

She was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Arnold and Marion Volk.
