VOORHEESVILLE — Jeanne Adele Weissenberger Perras, a long-time resident of Voorheesville and the mother of six, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was 93.

Voorheesville should be proud of its work in drafting a thoughtful comprehensive land-use plan but must not rest on its laurels — the zoning law has to be changed to make the plan a reality.

The Voorheesville Board of Trustees at its June meeting adopted a proposed comprehensive plan for the village.
