BETHLEHEM — A family who lived at 485 Dawson Rd. in Bethlehem was displaced when their home caught fire on Monday Dec. 27.
The fire was reported by a motorist who “flagged down” a Bethlehem Police officer, alerting him to the fire at 6:43 a.m., according to a release from the police department.

Plug Power is seeking to construct a 350,000-square-foot office, manufacturing, and warehousing facility in the Vista Technology Park, which is located mostly in Bethlehem.

In 2019, Albany County decided on a $1.9 million plan to replace the rail-trail bridge with one that is tall enough to meet state requirements but, meanwhile, trucks continue to get stuck under the bridge.

BETHLEHEM — An 86-year-old driver, who hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal, landed his truck inside a gift shop at Delmar’s Four Corners on Wednesday evening.
No one was injured.

BETHLEHEM — On Monday, a Glenmont man was charged after a hit-and-run accident the week before, on Aug. 23.
William J. West, 26, was charged with leaving the scene of a personal-injury crash, a misdemeanor.
