I had a very enjoyable day on Monday, Feb. 10. My granddaughter, Kassi Neal, came for breakfast. I trimmed her hair, which is long and beautiful. Then she filled out paperwork for the Star program and we dropped it off to Kevin Crosier at the town hall in Berne.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo's basketball season came to an end after getting out-muscled by Rensselaer.

Monday, Feb. 3, was my Zoey day for the week. I had to go to the bank so I bundled up Zoey and we took the news to Altamont and then drove to KeyBank in Voorheesville.

I introduced Zoey to all the staff at the bank and all agreed with me that she’s a beautiful baby.

I feel I can speak for myself and Kristen Reynders (owner of Hitmans Towing) when I say thank you to all who showed up at the Feb. 11 Knox Town Board meeting on her behalf.  Thanks to those of you who spoke in support of Hitmans and businesses in Knox.

I am writing in response to the recent publications about the funding for our Hilltown Community Resource Center, your most recent article being named “County to lend counseling hand for BKW.”

Monday, Jan. 20, was a holiday. It was Martin Luther King’s birthday. Marcia had to work and dropped off Kyra at my house at 7 a.m. 

Kyra and I went with Brandon to pick up Nichole and Samson. It was his holiday to spend with them. Jenn Smith and Iain met us at Sunset Lanes in Colonie.

BKW boys' basketball is at the top of the Western Athletic Conference standings with a 6-1 record (8-5 overall).

This week, the Bulldogs beat Sharon Springs, 74 to 34, on the road, and then followed that up with a 74-to-71 win at home against Middleburgh on Wednesday.

I would like to comment on your Jan. 16, editorial “Good dialogue makes good neighbors.” The editorial speaks to the dispute between neighbors Ms. Barbara Huba and Mr. Michele Salerno.
