As is the case each year at the Knox Nursery School, November and December fly by as quickly as Santa and his sleigh.

In November, we welcomed Megan Murphy to the teaching staff. Megan assists with the class of 3-year-olds on Mondays and Thursdays.

In campaigning door-to-door throughout Berne and East Berne, I met many awesome people who share a concern of having well-maintained roads. Well-kept roads are more than just being able to get out of bed and driving to work each day.

HILLTOWNS — The Kiwanis Club of the Helderbergs has completed restoration of a one-room schoolhouse (School 5) in Knox.  The schoolhouse, owned by New York State Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation was built in the late 1890s.  The school was restored under the guidance of Parks’ Historic Sites Restoration Office;
