Battling the rain while she ran, Allie Tedeschi competed in the 2000-meter steeplechase where she finished second with a time of 7:59.40; she then finished second in the 3000-meter race with a time of 11:50.21.
Laid back as he jumps, Scott Slingerland leaps over the high-jump bar but didn't record a height in the event.
Anna White won the girls' pole vault with a height of 8 feet, 6 inches.
Winning the pentathlon event was Kyle Anderson, who leaps over a hurdle here; he won the hurdles race with a time of 18.33. Anderson scored 2,208 points to win the pentathlon.
Lukas Becker leaps over the hurdle in the 3000-meter steeplechase where he finished third with a time of 11:27.90. BKW's biys' and girls' teams both finished in sixth place, the girls with 48 points and the boys with 52 points.
