BETHLEHEM — On Monday, a Glenmont man was charged after a hit-and-run accident the week before, on Aug. 23.
William J. West, 26, was charged with leaving the scene of a personal-injury crash, a misdemeanor.

Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy reported in his daily release on Wednesday morning five new hospitalizations, meaning 30 county residents are now hospitalized with the virus — a net increase of three. There are now 10 patients in intensive-care units, up from eight yesterday.

On Monday, a small fire broke out at one of the solar fields in Westerlo. Westerlo's Volunteer Fire Department Assistant Chief Don Filkins told The Enterprise that it was put out quickly and that, even if the fire had been allowed to burn, there would have been little to no risk to the public.
