On Sunday, March 22, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys’ basketball squad looked to defend their 2025 state championship in Class C as they took on Section 3’s Cooperstown at Vision Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton. Shots weren’t falling for the Bulldogs and they fell, 52 to 43.

This past weekend, March 13 to 15, runners from Guilderland, Bethlehem, and Berne-Knox-Westerlo took to the track at New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts as they took on the nation's best.

On Saturday, Feb. 28, cheer squads from Bethlehem (Class B), Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Class D), and Guilderland (Class A) took to the mat at Troy High School as they took on other top schools in the Section 2 championships in their respective classes.

On Friday, Feb. 27, the top-seeded Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys’ basketball squad looked to take one step closer to repeating its Section 2, Class C title as the Bulldogs took on eighth-seed Maple Hill at Hudson Valley Community College.

On Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27 and 28, two wrestlers from Guilderland (Kody Dott and Abdo Baraeya), two from Berne-Knox-Westerlo-Middleburgh (Gabe and Liam English) and Eagles’ James Nalbone all battled wrestlers from around New York State at the MVP arena.

On Tuesday, Feb. 24, the third-seeded Berne-Knox-Westerlo girls’ basketball team pursued a Section 2, Class C title at home as the team took on 14th-seeded Schoharie. The Bulldogs came out running and their tough defense helped them move on with a 67-30 win.

On Saturday, Feb. 14, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo, Bethlehem, Guilderland, and Voorheesville track teams took to the Hudson Valley Community College indoor track floor for a last-chance battle to get to Staten Island for the state competition on March 6.

On Saturday, Feb. 14, Berne-Knox-Westerlo-Middleburgh, Bethlehem, and Guilderland wrestling squads battled in the Section 2 state qualifiers for division 1 and 2 state competition at MVP arena on Feb. 27-28.

On Saturday, Jan. 31, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo and Voorheesville indoor track teams battled in the Section 2, Division 4 championships in hopes to take one step closer to making the state competition at Hudson Valley Community College.

On Friday, Jan. 30, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo girls’ basketball squad traveled to Scotia to take on Mekeel Christian Academy. From the opening tip, the Bulldogs took control of the game and walked away with a 67-35 victory.
