ALTAMONT — Nancy Osterhout —  a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother — died on Thursday Nov. 9, 2023. She was 90.

She was born in Albany on July 17, 1933, the daughter of the late Katherine Martino and Stillman Pitts.

“This year, we decided to join forces,” said Sandra Dollard, the chamber’s director. The partnership, she said, will “enlarge our circle of giving.”

The law is to take effect immediately and applies to assessment rolls prepared on the basis of taxable status dates occurring on and after Jan. 1, 2024.

He asked two questions: Would the town benefit, and could students from the nearby high school learn from the project. The answer to both questions was yes.
