Scouts say: Save some lives!

To the Editor:

Scout Troop 1083 is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. at the McKownville United Methodist Church on Western Avenue.

Blood donations are critically low this summer, and we need your help.

Please consider making an appointment online at RedCrossBlood.org or by emailing with your preferred time.

All donors in August receive a $20 Amazon gift card as a thank-you gift. We especially appreciate the McKownville United Methodist Church for allowing us to use their facilities.

We hope to see you on Wednesday to save some lives!
