A Rotterdam man was arrested on Wednesday night for drunk driving; police say he caused a three-car crash at the intersection of Route 20 and Johnston Road in Guilderland.

A school in New York City has been named after Kathleen Grimm, the sister of former town board member and current county legislature candidate Mark Grimm.

Ms. Grimm, who died in February, served as deputy chancellor of the city’s education department for 13 years.

ALTAMONT — Village Trustee Cathy Glass, who joined the Altamont board this spring, has resigned due to unforeseen health issues within her family, Glass told The Enterprise.

ALTAMONT — Steven Francis Harrington, a United States Air Force Veteran, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015. He was 74.

Mr. Harrington was born in Fort Edward, the son of the late Renard and Dorothy (née Cadarr) Harrington. He lived in Fort Edward until he enlisted in the Air Force.

The preserve, located at the corner of Westfall and Bozenkill roads, has two walking trails and is open to the public from dawn till dusk.
