Last weekend, the Guilderland Garden Club held their annual green show at the Mynderse-Frederick house in Guilderland Center.

Guilderland, Voorheesville, and Berne-Knox-Westerlo varsity bowling teams bowled at Town ’n’ Country lanes in Guilderland last Thursday afternoon.

The Guilderland Dutchmen indoor track team competed at Union College Saturday morning to start the season. The Dutch raced away from the competition by winning both the girls’ and boys’ titles; the girls’ team had 140 points while the boys’ had 130.50.

GUILDERLAND — Acting on a complaint they received early Thursday morning, Guilderland Police charged a 31-year-old Connecticut man with two felonies — second-degree rape and second-degree criminal sex act where the actor is over 17 and the victim is under 15.

The jury was selected on Monday and the case is expected to go to the jury Thursday or Friday.

The Rau family has farmed on Settles Hill since 1799, valuing the open space and agricultural heritage.
