One bad bounce or a different play could have led Guilderland’s field hockey and football teams to the next round in their Class AA sectional games. The field hockey team played well against Shenendehowa last Thursday in a tight game that needed extra time to be resolved.

This week, the Guilderland boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams took to the court for their quarterfinal matchups in the Class AA sectional tournament.

Bags will be delivered to homes in Altamont on Saturday, Oct. 27. The Scouts will return the following Saturday, Nov. 3, to pick up donations.
