Last Wednesday, Aug. 30, the Voorheesville Blackbirds boys’ golf team teed off against Schalmont. On the nice day at Orchard Creek, the Blackbirds swung easy against the Sabres by winning 180 to 206.

Last Thursday, Sept. 15, the Voorheesville boys’ and girls’ golf teams took to the challenging course at Orchard Creek to take on Ichabod Crane and Mohonasen. The boys fell,  171 to 194, while the girls won, 159 to 181.

140 golfers playing in the fifth annual Douglas Lawton Memorial Golf Outing on Wednesday, July 17 at the Orchard Creek Golf Course in Altamont.

The Guilderland Letterman Golf Classic was held last Friday at Orchard Creek Golf Course for their annual fundraiser.

On Friday at Orchard Creek Golf Course, 144 golfers helped raise money for the Guilderland 2 sport Athletes for a scholarship.
