On Friday at Orchard Creek Golf Course, 144 golfers helped raise money for the Guilderland 2 sport Athletes for a scholarship.

Golf for a cause: Midst the lush landscape, a foursome chips onto the 18th green Friday for the 20th Annual Lettermen Golf Classic at the Orchard Creek Golf Club beneath the Helderbergs. The tournament raises money for Guilderland students who are two-sport varsity athletes and excel in the classroom.

Making the putt: Three watch as the fourth lines up a putt on the 18th green at Orchard Creek Friday afternoon for the Letterman golf classic. There were 144 golfers in the field, 85 percent of them were former players or coaches at Guilderland.
