VOORHEESVILLE — Roger Spencer had no blood relatives but he had a family of admirers, many of who knew him as the cowboy at the village laundry.

WESTERLO — Jean Frances Britton was a resolute woman who took her family on camping trips with the same regularity and determination she used learning to negotiate the pedals of farm machinery and church organs.

BERNE — Thoroughly dedicated to his family, Donald Emil Moser was happy to come home from his travels and be at baseball games to watch his son.

Mr. Moser died on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. He was 80.

Mr. Moser was born in Schenectady on May 2, 1934, to the late Emil and Teresa Moser.

WRIGHT — Agnes L. Gaige, who brightened every room with joy and laughter, died on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn in Albany, after a brief terminal illness. She was 84.

Mrs. Gaige was born on Sept. 1, 1930, in the Bronx, the daughter of Katherine (née Buckenberger) and Alfred Holt.

GUILDERLAND — Jeffrey W. Webb, a man dedicated to his family and his job, died on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015. He was 71.

Mr. Webb was born in Ossining, New York, the son of the late Wilbur W. and Ethel-Mae (née Pratt) Webb.

DURHAM — Charles Lee never showed up empty handed. Visiting his grandchildren, he brought boxes of doughnuts, bags of fruit, or even a bunch of fortune cookies.

Charles Edward Lee died Friday evening, Jan. 30, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a stroke. He was 71.

WESTERLO — Strong willed in whatever she did, Marilyn C. Nevins was thankful for her life and resolute in her faith.

She died on her birthday, Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, in the home of her loving son John. She was 83.

EAST BERNE — Stephen Alan Furman had a sense of humor and purpose.

His children were “the light of his life,” his family wrote in a tribute.

BERNE — Ellen D. Yarmchuk, formerly of Berne, died on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at her home, in Rogersville, Tennessee. She was 92.

Mrs. Yarmchuk was born on Nov. 21, 1921, in Troy, to the late William and Julia (née Satterlee) Dobbs.

BERNE — Always cooking and gardening, Sarah Deitz was an active woman who was comfortable making pies and logging wood.

Mrs. Deitz died on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 at Tranquility Hospice in Marietta, Georgia. She was 93.
