GUILDERLAND — This summer, the Guilderland Food Pantry’s shelves are extremely low, according to Community Caregivers, which has planned a food drive to help support the pantry.
At an assembly at Westmere Elementary on Tuesday morning, Fifth grade teach Mrs. Gejay's class stood in front of their classmates to show off the amount of food the school will be donating to the Guilderland Food Pantry.
On Tuesday morning, The Grand Nursing and Rehabilitation delivered food and gifts to make sure a Cohoes family who, temporary live in Guilderland, that lost everything in a fire back on March 28th make sure they have something for Christmas.
On Tuesday afternoon before their Thanksgiving Recess, students had an assembly where the 5th grade class mentioned they will be collecting food donations for the Guilderland Food Pantry.
