ALBANY COUNTY — Justin Balicki, 26, of Albany, pleaded guilty to first-degree vehicular assault, a felony, for a car crash in Guilderland in May.

He appeared before Judge William A. Carter in Albany County Court on Thursday morning.

BETHLEHEM — After a jury trial, Lina Michaels, 32, of Delmar, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated per se, a felony, and driving while ability impaired, a misdemeanor.

The trial was presided over by Debra J. Young in Albany County Court on March 9.

A Troy man who had a loaded handgun and other weapons in his car, discovered during a traffic stop in New Scotland, has pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Douglas Brundige, 38, pleaded to the felony before Judge Thomas A. Breslin in Albany County Supreme Court on July 1.

William Beer, 42, of Troy, was found guilty on April 9 of third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, the Albany County District Attorney’s Office said in a release.

After a plumber took his money and was later arrested, a 93-year-old and his son have struggled get questions answered, like how they can get the money back.
