Being grand marshall was an honor

To the Editor:

I would like to thank all who selected me as grand marshall of the Memorial Day parade.

It was a good day and a great parade. It was well organized and came off well.

Again, thanks to the Helderberg American Legion Post 977 and to the Boyd Hilton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7062.

It was an honor and a privilege to participate in this wonderful parade.

My friends and family were there and had a good time along with a good turnout and lots of spectators.
