Spring-cleaning? Your castoffs could be useful to someone else

To the Editor:

With temperatures above freezing for the first time in months, it's almost time for spring-cleaning.

Keep in mind that one man's trash is another man's treasure — something that is garbage to  your family could be exactly what another family needs.

As you empty your closets and see that winter coat or pair of boots that are in good condition, but just don't fit anymore, think about donating it to the Hilltown Community Resource Center for families in need.

They accept more than just food — winter apparel, household items, and personal hygiene items are also in high demand.  Those Christmas presents that you just don't want are also possibly donatable.

Contact the HCRC today at 797-5256 to see what you can do to help!
