To the Editor: 

The editorial on Pat Wagoner and Marge Gilbert was wonderful and caring.  Pat was so overwhelmed and honored when she received this award at the dinner that they finally remembered to say thank you; it took the nation long enough to do.

The task of honoring veterans goes on.

The Boyd Hilton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7062 and Ladies’ Auxiliary will be hosting their fifth annual Lunch with Santa on Dec. 14 from 1 till 4 p.m.

Come on down and spend a fun-filled afternoon to kick off the holiday season that will include lunch, decorating your own dessert, games, and crafts.

The ages for children to attend are newborn to 12 years old and each must be accompanied by an adult.
