Library seeks sale donations

To the Editor:

The Altamont Free Library will be holding a Book and Yard Sale on Saturday, May 3, in conjunction with the PTA's community-wide Garage Sale.

Donations of gently-used hardcover and paperback books, children's books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, puzzles, games, and household items can be dropped off at the library, the former train station, on Thursday, May 2, from noon to 6 p.m., or Friday, from 3 to 6 p.m. (No encyclopedias, please.)

All donations and proceeds from the sale will support programs and activities at the library.  For more information, please call the Altamont Free Library at 861-7239 or call me at 861-8341.

Thank you for supporting your local library!

Sally Dague, President
