To the Editor:

Girl Scout Troop 1758 of Berne-Knox-Westerlo would like to thank the wonderful American Legion of Altamont for not only letting us use its spacious facilities but also doing the tasty cooking of the chicken parmesan for our Italian dinner last week.

Thank you also to the many community members who came out to eat; we hope you had enough!

Thank you to the families who made the desserts for our overflowing dessert cart, and to Bella Napoli that donated to the cause.

Our troop of 14 teenagers is planning a big trip before graduation and this sell-out event certainly helps us get there, wherever there is!  We appreciate your support!  Grazie!
